Throughout the duration of this project, I have learned the importance of working as a team in order to complete our project. I learned how to be a good team player by sharing ideas and be open-minded to others' suggestions in the course of our discussion.
-by Malcolm Chen Hoong WeiMy participation in this project gives me the opportunity to work in a real world situation based on the concept of connecting, collaborating, communicating and creating with others in order to form new discussion and ideas. Besides, I also learned to be cooperative and be considerate of others while working together as a team. Thanks to this project, I managed to learn and improve my communication and decision-making skills Time management is one of the most important skills that I have learned as there were many instances where we have to work setting deadlines for ourselves in order to finish the tasks assigned. -by Edmond Yap Kam-Yuan
I am now more aware of the importance of taking actions for earth especially in view of the climate change problem that we are facing in the world today. By working on this project, I have gained a lot of knowledge and understand my role in helping to save Mother Earth, however small my own personal actions may be. -by Low Hwei Li
I treasure all the learning moments that I have experienced while working with my team-mates from a school in Ipoh. My most interesting experience was during my Australian trip where I was given the opportunity to share what my team-mates and I were doing for this project with students from P12 Hawkesdale College. That visit had given me the opportunity to reach out to a wider community in my team's effort to raise awareness among the public concerning their role in taking actions for earth.

It is often said, 'Individually we are one drop, together we are an ocean.' We all our thankful for this opportunity which helped us to strengthen our teamwork and understand our friends from Malaysia. Friendship is the tie that is hard to break and we hope this bond to last forever. We learnt that collaborating with each other is important while doing a group project. If we don't we cannot have a fruitful output. We need to understand other's suggestion before giving our views. We understood the need of time management. Punctuality is a need to complete the work at the right time. As for the topic, we learnt that our home - the Earth faces many threats, most of them, being our fault. We also got to know that are small efforts can help our cities, our nation, our Earth and ourselves. We understood the need to save our Earth. It was harmed by us and can be saved by us alone. This Project was a platform which showed us our strengths - from writing and researching to forming the website. Communication and Collaboration - two important parts of forming this website, inspired us to keep working till the very end. At last but not the least, we thank our teachers, Ms. Woo, Mrs. Shruti and Mrs. Vandana without who's efforts none of this would have been possible. They were there to work day and night to make this work of ours successful. Helen Keller said, 'Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much' and together, here we stand with a website to aware the world with the threats it faces. -by Tanya Aneja |
